	September 29, 2011, (Thursday) - Practice: Practice on Thursday 2:30-4:30 September 30, 2011 (Friday) - Home Game vs. Amelia: Report time is 5:30 pm. Youth Night. Bake Sale workers for Sept. 30 are: 1. Set-up (6:30-7:30) & first quarter = Angie McQuitty & Laurie Northrup. 2. 2nd quarter and half time = Jim Koch & NEED ONE MORE. 3. 3rd & 4th quarters and takedown = Lisa Harcourt & NEED ONE MORE. Remember to bring bake sale items to sell at the game. We had many people bring brownies and they all sold out long before the game was over. We had a good assortment of cookies, but very few Rice Krispie treats. Thanks for sending these for us to sell. September 30, October 1 & 2, 2011 (Friday, Sat. & Sun.) - Pumpkin Run: Thanks to everyone who has signed up to work a shift at the Pumpkin Run this coming weekend. We still have a great need to fill some Friday shifts. If anyone is available to work 2:30-7:30 (5 shifts left to fill) or 3-8:30 (5 shifts left to fill) please let Jenny know. Reminders will be coming home this week through your band student with the shift that you are scheduled to work and information about where to report. If any parents would be willing to miss the pregame show, (you could be back by halftime) to work a shift, this would be very helpful. October 4, 2011 (Tuesday) - Cheesecake Fundraiser: The band will be selling frozen cheesecakes for the holidays starting October 4th. Delivery will be the week of Nov. 14-18. October 6, 2011, (Thursday) - Practice: Practice on Thursday 2:30-4:30 October 7, 2011 (Friday) - Away Game at Western Brown: Report time is 5:30 pm. October 11, 2011 (Tuesday) – Band Booster Meeting: October 13, 2011, (Thursday) - Practice: Practice on Thursday 2:30-4:30 October 14, 2011 (Friday) - Away Game at Williamsburg: Report time is 5:30 pm. October 20, 2011, (Thursday) - Practice: Practice on Thursday 2:30-4:30 October 21, 2011 (Friday) – Home Game vs. East Clinton, 7&8 Grade Band Night: Report time is 5:30 pm. October 27, 2011, (Thursday) - Practice: Practice on Thursday 2:30-4:30 October 28, 2011 (Friday) – Home Game vs. Blanchester, Senior Night: Report time is 5:30 pm. This is the last game of the season. Seniors and their parents will be recognized before the game. November 1, 2011 (Tuesday) – Varsity Show: 7:00pm. November 4, 2011 (Friday) – Channel 12 Friday Night Final: 9:00pm. Juniors and Seniors travel to the studio to play live for Channel 12's Friday Night Final. November 10 & 12, 2011 (Thursday & Saturday) – Elementary Drama presents Aristocats, Jr.: November 11, 2011 (Friday) – Batavia Veterans’ Day Parade: (No school) November 13, 2011 (Sunday) – Band Banquet: The Band Banquet will be on Sunday, November 13 at Receptions at Eastgate. Cost is $12 per ticket. Band students' tickets will be $10. November 15, 2011 (Tuesday) – Band Booster Meeting: December 5, 2011 (Monday) – Holiday Concert: December xx, 2011 (Tuesday) – NO Band Booster Meeting: There will be no Band Booster Meeting in December. Meijer Holiday Parade Cancelled: We normally perform in the Meijer Holiday Parade during December. The parade has been cancelled this year due to the road work that is currently being done on the parade route (business loop of State Route 28 between Meijer and Kmart). Middle School performs Alice in Wonderland, Jr.: High School Drama tryouts for Seussical: We will have more details for events in Nov. and Dec. as they get closer. Thanks, Barb Shaw
